Superman No Longer Grounded?

In an image released today at DC Comics' The Source blog, the publisher teased the next step in the Superman saga that's been chugging along as the Man of Steel has been wandering across America. The teaser, drawn by Eddy Barrows, shows Superman in space surrounded by alternate versions of himself. 

Does this mean Superman is going cosmic? Exploring the multiverse? Let the speculation begin!
